PostSubject: The Christian Bible Dead!   Mon Jan 20, 2014 4:38 pm

The bible, all the way from Genesis through Revelation, has only served to expose the myopic, parochial, localized, tribalized and primitive world views of the supposed writers of the 66 books that compose it.

This is an obsolete collection, of silly myths, puerile fables, useless fairy tales and irrelevant folk-lores, that has persistently thrived, through the ages gone by till date, on the inhibitions of fear of the earthly man.

Were the least of all humans to venture to read it with his brain and mind intact, he would readily come to the stark realization that the Bible has nothing useful in its entirety to offer humanity.

But the ever-present fear of the unknown, of the supposed agony of the so-called hell-fire, and of the imagined effect of the curse placed at the close of the last book, forbidding subtraction from or addition to the shammed prophecy of the 'scroll', all these have more or less crippled the thinking and the critical mind of the reader.

When a thing is perceived, who or what is responsible for the perception? The perceived or the perceiver? And, if one cannot even imagine that they are confused about the simple order of things, of cause and effect, agent and patient, who or what has condemned them to ignorance? The knowable or the knower? Is knowledge to be faulted for ignorance?

A person can only comprehend a book to the limits that principles of language are functional in that mind.

The Book you denigrate, perhaps you should see some of my work, and maybe instead of being so flippant, you might learn fear. Not fear of the metaphor in the Judeo-Christian Scripture, but fear in the knowledge that it is our own stupidity that condemns us.

What do you think it means when one is told that their heart would be tested? Heart is a metaphor for mind. Why because what it takes in, is what is inside, and what is inside is what it puts out for life. And after being told that the mind would be tested, and that the only power there is, is judgment, i.e. linguistic functionality, exactly how do you think a mind would be tested except by the very Book they are reading? Duh.

What do you think it means that someone would one day loosen the seals on the book, to cast the truth to the ground, to present man with a new language? To present mankind not with Law enumerated, as the first way we learn, but to present man with the Law by definition. Not because man is wise, not because we understand, but because our life depends on us, as mind to become functional. To believe that we are is more than stupid.

Exactly what wisdom is there in a deaf man blaming those who are yelling at him, because they are silent?

good thoughts.
may such understanding work to build trust. again, i might add.

present man with a new language .... quite the versatility that appears to be missing in the perception of most verbal exchanges.

loosen seals? being unable to get on the same wavelength can be quite damaging to one's health.

p.s. the spirit blows where it wants; hence i am still curious as to the christian bible being dead and the creation of this opinion.
service dead, servants slowly dying out.

Whatever is presented on the Bible other than the essence of Jesus sayings (about living the unconditional love towards all others) was addressed to the kids of humanity, i.e. to those who are created of a human living flesh only.
For instance, Islam, for example, which is actually a sort of an Arabic version of Judaism, is also suitable for men who have a human living flesh only.

In general, any LAW (said of a god or not) that could be imposed, in a way or another, on the masses is the basic tool to control the ordinary people (for their good or not) by some Elite men. After all, creating and approving global laws are very important for playing the universal master/slave game which is typical in life's jungle Wink

In other words, since the majority of men are created of a human living flesh only, the Bible, Quran or any other well-defined book of law will be used always by the few men on top (the Elite generations in every region via their actors, hired to play politicians, commanders and leaders before the masses) to better control their men on bottom (ordinary civilians and troops).

Finally, the greatest miracle that the world lives, for more than 2000 years, is that while the great majority of men in every region in the world CANNOT perceive the essence of Jesus teachings since it is is addressed to the free independent individuals only who are created with a human living soul too, Jesus sayings that have nothing to do with any LAW of the master/slave game in life, are transmitted, as they are, from one generation to another! Wink

the 'cannot' part in the middle of an overall great insight must be taken as a clue to helping all those who appear to have got stuck in perceptions of perfection and achievement ....
this transmission should never become profane on account of its simplicity.

in other words, how does one keep people interested in transmissions / tranmitters from one generation to the next?
(gone looking for another smiley .... )

\!! thank you very kindly.
