PostSubject: CARD FROM NOWHERE   Sun Mar 10, 2013 4:38 pm

All quiet on this front, but as the Lone Ranger used to say, "Yes Tonto; too quiet". Seems like the hush just before the big guns open up. But I'm an old-fashioned thing. In the new hi-tech war, maybe no big booms & bangs, just sudden oblivion as an air-burst weapon fired from an orbiting command center cancels the bio-diversity of my/your entire continent. Or life-forms just start keeling over in numbers from a really advanced bio-engineered virus-weapon. Whatever, could be good times for rats & blowflies a-comin'.

On the other, brighter hand, maybe billions of us will just starve slowly, after the global banking system collapses, & collapses human civilization with it. In a previous incarnation, I was a minor cog in the logistics machine. Few know that our great cities are fed by convoys of food trucks, running 24/7. A mere back-fart in the controlling computer system can stop that. Then the hood is only 2-3 days from food riots, when the stores sell out of e/thing except detergent.

I'm in my hole waiting & watching developments - like the political song & dance routines of president Bojangles. Yeah, he is just the black-faced stooge of the white 1-2% who own most of e/thing, but that's what makes him so useful to them. He has cancelled habeas corpus, which puts human rights back about 800 years. For 'Homeland Security', he has ordered 2 billion (yes, that's right) rounds of anti-personnel ammunition. These have hollow end, designed to fragment when they hit a body. They used to be banned, when they were called 'dum-dum' bullets. But my, the times are a-changin. Meantime, he is trying to get citizens to hand him their guns. Clearly, El Presidente Bojangles is shaping up for martial law.

A few years back, things were clearer. The macro decisions were being taken by the sub-bestials of the Bilderberg Group. They were trying to foment a big war between China & Russia. But the two power blocs have kissed & made up. They are now part of the Asia-Pacific alliance, with India & 'BRICS' nations. The white-faced West is not happy with its weakening grip. And there is much confusion up top. The Bilderbergers have lost control of the previously malleable media. Amateurs on the internet have focussed massive attention on their once-secret conclaves, & the Master-Maggots of the Universe are convulsing in the glare of publicity.

Prolly why the reins of power have passed to global bankers. Financial maggots, from the great thieves' kitchens of Wall Street & the City of London, have wriggled into governments. There, they declare that whole nations like, oh, pretty much e/one except Germany & China, are bankrupt. So e/one owes the bankers big money, & we don 't deserve to live. Presumably, we will soon all register as serfs, property of some banker. 10 ways to prepare really tasty turnip?

Anyhow, whoever is in charge, or thinks they are, there are problems. The original B/berger strategy was to invade & smash up Iran, so cutting off China & Asean from vital Middle East oil supplies. Fleets of the serf-nations (USA, NATO, & else) have been steaming up & down the Persian Gulf, bugles blowin' & drums a-drummin'. But Iran doesn't cave in. With the help of China & Russia, it has developed its own hi-tech weapons of mass-nastiness. It's message to the West is, "Iffen you wan' it, you come an' git it. Elsewise, f*kc off".

The West compromises by paying its al Qaida mercenaries to smash up Syria. Which pleases Israel, which likes to posture as a major player. But it's in serious dispute with the non-Zionists of the Bilderbergers. This side tends to see Israel as a useful, but ultimately irritating & disposable asset.

Hoping this finds you safe & snug in your holes. Wherever, maybe things look better there than here.

yes yes, we want our assets protected: human dignity is, admittedly, more of a spiritual thing than, say, the material possessions supposedly symbolizing a reward for standardized behavior ....

\!!

seems we might get closer to a better understanding of the core problems:

in the anglo-american legal system, protection of privacy is derived from definition of property / assets whereas in the post ww2 german legal system it's derived from human dignity.

must data protection be seen as the business of organized consumer rights lobbies or as government's business to respect an essential  citizens' right to guarantee and guard?

for germans, hence, it is already the gathering of data that represents an infringement of citizens' basic rights, whereas in anglo-saxon countries \!! such is only occurring with the use one is making of information obtained ...

"realistic" view on struggle between materialist and idealist understanding of life and living conditions?
