Something exists because I say "something exists" by my Authority.

Come one; come all! Attempt to disprove my statement, or prove otherwise...

Who will you turn to for knowledge when your mother & father fail you your education of Life?

The Stoics?

The Wise Men?

The Common Mind?

Excellent positioning.

You are truly teaching us all ....something.

Who knew your will was the final decisive factor?

Not I....but who am I?

You and MagnetMan make a dual, of dualism, that will certainly make this forum a haven of existential breakthroughs.

Carry on the good work.

And, now I see your point....about the point.

Yes, the wheel, obviously, has a center and the body a soul....

I can't imagine what I was thinking....if I was thinking at all.

Your position deserves a book...a pamphlet will do.
Let those retards like Sartre and Heidegger and Spinoza, and Schopenhauer, write long winded books when you two can obliterate them with a sentence.

I have been....raped.

I hate life...Mcmulligan was correct.
I was hiding it all this time.
Too embarrassed to admit it.

No need to post much anymore...what's it for?
What's the purpose?

If petty attempts at character assassination are all you have Satyr, then you have run out of material.

I knew.

Yea I, you want to know who am I? Actions speak louder than words. You tell me.

Satyr wrote:

The purpose is to see beyond your feminization of man thesis.

The world continues to spin ... like a wheel ... around its center-point.

Life & Death will go on.

Excellent points... all f them.

But you misunderstand, I am expressing my admiration for your positions.

No assassination...admiration.

And the world continues to spin...and spin...and spin. Like my head when I try to wrap it around your intricate reasoning.

Truly our soul must be the center-point....as MagnetMan has taught me, for I can think of nothing else more worthy of the label "some thing".

Perhaps a collaboration is due.

Continue the great work.

Is that what MM has taught you? I didn't even know Satyrs had souls, interesting suggestion. If they do not, then...

...perhaps that is how & why you are missing the point. What is a 'soul' Satyr, other than a metaphor for ... something?

Very Happy Something always has to exist if not then it would be darn boring, you wouldn't learn a thing, have fun, get angry or even exist, sounds dull as hell to me.
And you are actually quite correct when you say Something exists and its by your authority.

we all have the same authority. Existence is ours to play with and do what we want. Jus as non existence is ours.

Incorrect.

Individuals have differential powers and thus, differential authorities.

Existence is not "ours to play with and do what we want"; Actuality does not care about me nor you.

Non-existence is also not "ours"; Non-existence is only feasible to the discriminating minds. (Mankind)

In other words a man's worth is not in being aware of reality, but in deluding himself that his interpretations, no matter how absurd, are HIS reality and so THE REAL.

In other words it isn't that a mind becomes powerful by seeing the world as it is, adapting to it and formulating more efficient strategies to willfully manipulate it, but it becomes so by simply deluding itself, living in denial...and then forcing it upon others and relying on lies, chance and blind convictions to succeed.

Christianity!
You and MagnetMan make a perfect pair.
I will learn a lot.

How does any 'mind' know that something exists?
By being a naive realist? Hmm but what our senses tell us is not all there is to the world. Things lies 'beneath'.
By checking one's understanding with another 'mind'? Hmm but that other 'mind' does not agree that things I believe exists do exist or vice versa?
Is all a mixture of senses, semantics and electron microscopes?

The worth of any Man is how well he-himself conforms to the words he speaks and the actions he lives/dies for: Reality v Actuality.

You will not learn anything if you misconstrue my thoughts and place *YOUR* words into *MY* mouth.

You will need a Kindergarten lesson at this rate. If you have a question, then just ask it.

Quit pussyfooting around the wheel. Let us get to the --point-- of these matters.

That depends on what a 'mind' is.

Like women?

Really?!? -- how does this magical operation work? You tell me, if you can...

This sentence is a fragment; it is missing its first-half.

Is this thread a game of fill-in-the-blanks to what each other is 'thinking'?

Because if it is, then I already-win and declare myself the victor! -- hoorraaaay!

cheers

maryshelley wrote:

This is a poorly-formed suggestion.

How do you know what other people believe unless you ask them straight-out? Are you a mind-reader?

You take words (another's mostly) and use them in ways that are...astounding...yet so formidably concise and precise.

I admire you.

I've now learned that I can say anything I wish, and all I have to do is be strong enough to resist another's perspective or reality itself.
If I'm deluded enough i can create any reality I wish. I can Will it into existence.

I can say:

"The Earth is a triangle." and all I have to do is Will it...forcing it down other people's throats.

There IS a God.
There IS a soul.
There IS a center to a wheel.
Dominance IS rape.
I CAN levitate.

I get it now.
You can pretty much say anything, pull it out of your ass if need be, and the force with which you declare it makes it fact.
It's about raping the other.

No need to adhere to a commonly experienced world and find truth in the compared deductinos and the predictable patterns...empiricism.
No, you can invent reality.
No rules...automatic freedom.
Free-will.

I think you really GOT Nietzsche.
One of the few that has, in my humble opinion.

Excellent pun, sir.

I suppose you do HAVE a point to get to.

You are marvel to behold. Spinning and spinning and spinning tales of woe and wonder.

I, and many others, will undoubtedly learn a lot.

There ARE unicorns!!!
They are real.
They are actualized.

Everything IS unreal!!!
I get it.

What you say is mostly-true.

However you are missing the part where somebody appropriates the Authority to say what-is-what.

Do you give a child authority over you when he says "ghosts exist". No, you do not.

Now ... do you know why, or will I need to attend my lecturing podium?

It is ours to play with becaue we each own our own reality or non existience. just because a person imprisons you, that person cannot dictate to you unless you allow them to. Your reality is yours you choose you can choose to attempt escape, live with it , obey, disobey or cause your death. We all have our own choices about our existence and the existence of reality ,, even a child. If a child says a ghost exists and know it does,, what you say to the negative of that does not change what that child knows,, oh the kid will agree with you especially if you threaten punishment or bore it to death with a long windy logical argument. But you cannot have authority over what it knows.

Not odd.
Stated.

YOU, young seedling, have much to learn.
Much that I cannot teach you with theories.
You must experience them, and then, you will only benefit from them if you see them courageously and clearly.

Not a foregone conclusion.
A possibility.

So far you have failed miserably.
You posses no artistry, no nuance, no delicacy.
You are brute force.

This has nothing to do with my Will.
Good luck to you.

Some things just cannot be communicated, when art fails to do so.
Some eyes are just blind to nuance.

Dear child, this authority is not a given, not a product of denial, it is a result of acceptance, of seeing, of coping.

This you have yet to learn...if you can learn at all.

Genetics, dear child, is not my doing...it is a burden even I must deal with.

Do not blame me for it...and if you do, remember this is your excuse....not mine.

Dear child, reality is my master, not you, not I.

I am the messenger, not the God.

I am the Satyr.

A child can tell me about centers on wheels and Gods and absolutes and unicorns and leprechauns of all kinds, what does it matter?

I do not decide, infant, I only express.
I only see.
Should I go blind so that you, and your kind, can not face the visions?

I will not...I can not.

Now play your simplistic games and cast your stones, you simpleton.

YOU are NOTHING like ME.
NO THING like ME!!!!!

This much is certain.

Good luck with the rest.

YOUR emotions do not matter to me.

Have have you anything to offer me in return?

No THING!!!
Why would I waste my time upon you?

Only ego, you simpleton... not YOURS, MY ego.

Oh shit...
Then HIS judgments takes precedence over yours.

Good intuitive call, because yours aren't worth shit, to be honest with you.

You still seek leaders because you cannot lead yourself.

You know yourself subconsciously. This is becomnig obvious.
You feel uncertainty. You feel your own inadequacy...do you think I do not see you beneath the bravado and adolescent bolstering?

Shit, boy, I have trained my self to see beyond words and pretenses. Yours are too transparent.

This is where you, typically, reciprocate.

I only observe.

Nothing else matters to me.

Have you noticed how you now use my terms?
Who is raping whom?

I wonder.
Now off you go with you own kind....your wonderers and Mcmisarables and these females you try to prove yoursel to.

I SEE YOU.
SEX is all about you.

You smell of pussy.
